But we chose to become specialists in four routes rather than forty — to France, to Spain, to Italy and to Portugal. We are a north-London firm working from the Barnet borough outward. Barnet is our home patch and our departure hub — we collect across Chipping Barnet, Finchley, Hendon, Golders Green, Whetstone, Mill Hill and the wider borough, and out into neighbouring north London.
Why do you focus on just four countries?
Because four routes run properly beats forty listed on a website. Every one of them is reachable by road from Barnet with our own crew, so nothing is handed to an agent we have never met. Our Continental Desk specialises in these four so we genuinely know each route — the Paris courtyard entrance, the Madrid lift that will not take a sofa, the Italian restricted centre, the Lisbon hill street. We also move across the UK; the desk is our international limit as well as our specialism.
Can you still move me to Spain, France or elsewhere?
Yes. The Continental Desk names the destinations we specialise in, but we run the wider European corridor and UK-wide moves as well. Tell us where you’re heading and we’ll scope it properly — the route almost certainly works.
How do moves to the Spanish and Italian islands work?
An island move combines an overland leg across Europe with a sea crossing, coordinated as one managed job. We book the vehicle and the sailing to line up, so your belongings travel as a single consignment rather than something you have to hand off partway. Island routes reward a little planning up front, which we walk you through.
What does the “concierge” service actually mean?
It means one named coordinator from your first call to the last box unpacked — no being passed between departments or companies. It covers full or partial packing and unpacking, specialist crating for the precious things, and flexible storage and timing. Premium here is about fewer people to chase and nothing lost in the handover, not a longer bill.
